Yoga that meets you exactly where you are

I’ve been teaching for eight years, trained for 500+ hours across vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative, and yoga therapeutics. My teaching builds strength and creates softness - often in the same breath. I believe the body is a vessel: meant to carry what matters, release what doesn’t, and fill back up again. The practice is how we learn to tell the difference. It’s physical work. It’s also some of the most honest internal work you’ll do.

This practice is for anyone who is already doing a lot and wants to feel better in their body while they do it. Not a complete lifestyle overhaul. Not ninety minutes of silence you don’t have time for. Just honest, well-sequenced movement that builds something real.

Most yoga classes ask you to perform - reach the peak asana, hold it, keep up. Mine asks something different. To pay attention. To get curious about what your body is doing and why. To find the edge and decide for yourself what to do with it. It’s a small shift in instruction. It changes everything about the experience. Some people call it transformation. I just call it showing up consistently and letting the practice do its work. Your body already knows what it needs. Yoga is just the conversation.

Corporate

Practical movement for teams who spend their days in meetings, on decks, or in front of screens. No one needs to be a yoga person, they just need to show up. Available as one-off sessions on-site or online, weekly programming, or an add-on to an existing offsite.

Corporate sessions from $400 for groups up to 10. Larger groups and multi-session programs quoted on request

Work with Me

Gabriella – New York City

“I was fortunate enough to take class with Alexa while she was in Brooklyn. She is one of the best instructors I have taken a yoga class with! She is intentional in her practice and provides individualized attention to every single person in the class. My only complaint is that she isn’t in New York enough!”

“Alexa has found her calling in Yoga and is truly knowledgeable about her practice. Anyone who is lucky enough to attend one of her classes knows how much preparation and care has gone into each class. She is encouraging and supportive throughout the practice. Alexa takes the time to provide adjustments, and encouragement without pushing too hard. During the class, there is a good balance between visual demonstration and spoken instruction. I always feel comfortable and welcome. Do yourself a favor and attend one of Alexa’s classes, I promise you won’t regret it!”

Dani Coleman – Bequia, SVG

“I am a newcomer to yoga and recently took several of Alexa’s classes in Bequia. I was fortunate to also experience two private sessions during this time. Alexa is a skilled instructor with solid teaching skills. Her communication is excellent and her style is inclusive, friendly and welcoming. The breathing, meditation, and poses all felt good for my 50+ year old body. There was a nice balance of being challenged and also knowing what my limits were and being provided with multiple options for poses. The small details also made the class a joy. All of the gear was provided, the location and music enhanced the experience, and the essential oil/face massage component was an unexpected gift. I have been hooked now and look forward to continuing my practice. Many thanks, Alexa.”

Tara – New York

“Alexa is a no BS yoga guide that holds her students in a way that challenges and encourages them to reach the edge of their comfort zone and push beyond. You will leave her class feeling stronger and freer! Highly recommend.”

Joelisia – Bequia, SVG

“I don’t know if it was sheer luck but I found Alexa’s [Instagram] page and decided to inquire about classes. She was very polite in responding and getting me all set and scheduled for my first class which I was a mixture of excited and nervous about. I didn’t know what to expect. She welcomed me into her home, we got introductions out the way, and we began the session. As she guided me through we laughed and giggled when I would lose my balance here and there, but she guided me reassuringly every step of the way. IT WAS AMAZING. I didn’t expect the peace I felt after completing the class. It was as though a huge weight was lifted from my being. Since then I’ve been [regularly] scheduling classes. I can now do a Crow pose cues applause. 10/10 Would recommend it. The sessions are worth it and Alexa is super friendly. Just an all-around beautiful soul.”

Raven Pierson – New York City

“I took a class with Alexa in Brooklyn and absolutely loved it! She creates a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere where you feel encouraged and supported to try new things, as well as just chill out. I loved that she asked us to say hi to our mat neighbor, fostering a wonderful sense of connection to those around you that is missing in many NYC classes. I recommend her class to anyone, both beginners and seasoned yogis!”
